SDRF extracts vehicles swept away by floods in northern India
In a recent incident in northern India's Uttarakhand vehicles that were swept away by flood were rescued by SDRF officials.
The incident took place in Khadkhadi in Haridwar district on June 29.
Visuals showed the SDRF officials wading through knee-deep floodwaters and securing ropes to vehicles that were partially submerged due to heavy rainfall. In another set of visuals, a crane hoists a car out of the floodwaters.
Speaking to Newslions, Lalita Negi, SDRF Media Coordinator from Uttarakhand Control room informed that upon receiving the information the SDRF came into immediate action and worked effortlessly in extracting the vehicles from the flood.
