Parents used a hilarious blanket trick to sneak a mother out without her child noticing in eastern China.

The funny video was filmed in Rizhao City in Shandong Province on 26 June. The father, Mr Ding, held up a large blanket to act as a moving screen, completely concealing his wife from their daughter's sight.

As the dad skilfully escorted his wife to the door, the little girl, eating at the dining table, appeared puzzled but remained blissfully unaware of her mother's departure.

Mr Ding explained that his wife needed to step out for an urgent matter, but their daughter insisted on coming along. Given the late hour and the presence of mosquitoes outside, they concocted this creative plan.
