"From my experience when I visited China for 14 years, I saw China modernizing all along, all the way. So it's a very continuous process. It's a very successful process from the life scene, not only in large cities, but also in less developed areas that then became more modern and efficient. You're not thinking in four or five years' terms from one-digit ledger to the next, but you have a long-term strategy. 
Certainly, it is also about prioritizing investment in infrastructure, and putting people at the center and trying to take everyone along moving out of poverty."
