Mount Lewotobi in Indonesia erupted, a number of flights were cancelled.

Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki in East Nusa Tenggara erupted again on Monday 1 July 2024. It is known that in the last week, Mount Lewotobi Laki has erupted 5 times.

Today's eruption is visible. Columns of ash are observed to be gray in color with thick intensity towards the southwest and west as high as 1,984 meters above sea level.

since Saturday 29 June 2024, this has resulted in the cancellation of flights to Frans Seda Airport, Maumere. The reason is, the flight air space is covered with volcanic dust.
