A motorist rescued and adopted a dog trapped on an overpass in southern China.

The video was filmed in Shenzhen City in Guangdong Province on May 24.

The driver noticed a dog trembling on a curve in the road. Despite initially being fearful and resistant, the dog eventually let the man approach and was then taken to the vet for a check-up.

The examination revealed the puppy to be only 5 or 6 months old and likely to have fallen out of a car by accident. With no owner identified, the driver took the puppy home for adoption.

The fortunate pup, now named Nan Ping after the highway where it was found.

On May 24, 2024, in Shenzhen, Guangdong, a heartwarming act was captured on video as a Rolls-Royce owner came to the aid of a dirty but originally white dog stuck on an overpass.

At around 16:00 p.m. on a flyover, the car's owner spotted the puppy trembling on a bend in the road, which was a dozen meters above the ground. Due to fear, the dog was initially resistant to being approached by humans, but the filmmaker eventually managed to get the dog into the car and took it to the vet for a checkup.

The results showed that the puppy was only 5 or 6 months old and may have fallen out of a car by accident. With no owner to be found at the moment, the filmer took the puppy home for adoption and was immediately welcomed by the family's pup named Ben Hua. The lucky pup, with the name Nan Ping now given to it after the highway where it was picked up, has been living happily in the filmer's home.
