This is the adorable moment a playful pet Dalmation interrupted a schoolgirl as she tries to do her homework.

Supattra Phonmung spotted Geum, the eight-month-old clingy pooch seeking affection from its young owner, Tumtim, the three-year-old child in Sakhon Nakhon, Thailand, on May 26.

The footage shows the canine whining and lying on the girl's lap.

She attempted to remove the animal's head from her lap, but it resisted and continued to cling to her, begging for a cuddle.

This prompted her to stand up and leave, while the pet remained lying on the floor.

Supattra said: ' Guem has always been clingy, and he always wants to be with her.'

Dalmatians are known to be affectionate to their owners, longing for companionship and love.
