Mother sheep is stepping stone for lamb to get a drink
This is the impressive moment a mother sheep helps her young lamb get a drink of water because the ground was too low next to a drinking trough.
The amusing footage was captured in Xilin Gol League, which is in the Chinese region of Inner Mongolia, on June 30.
The drinking trough was designed for adult sheep and horses but when the young sheep was struggling to get a drink as well, the adult allowed its body to be used in order to stand up to give the youngster a proper drink.
The sheep that was reportedly the mother of the almost fully grown lamb even waited patiently until the youngster had finished drinking before then moving on for a snack of grass.
