Mountain side collapses, blocking road in India
On Wednesday, July 3rd, Pithoragarh's Dharchula faced yet another landslide, blocking the Tawaghat road in Uttarakhand.
Video shows a huge part of the mountain rolling down onto a road, with part of it falling into the nearby river.
A local person captured the precise moment of the landslide hitting the Tawaghat road connecting Dharchula.
The Tawaghat road has been blocked near Rongti Nala. Meanwhile, restoration work is underway to resume the free flow of traffic as soon as possible.
