SOUNDBITE (Chinese): PIRUMSHOEV FARRUKH, Tajik entrepreneur
"Last month, I shipped a total of 143 vehicles. Annually, the period from March to September or October is the peak season of our shipment, with an approximate number of 100 to 150 vehicles per month. The Chinese-brand cars are our primary exports, with new energy vehicles accounting for around 40-60 percent of the total. These new energy vehicles are primarily exported to the five Central Asian countries, where they enjoy tax-free policy. Nowadays, Chinese cars are gaining great popularity abroad and received positive feedback due to their good quality and favorable prices. Our business currently spans eight countries including Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Belarus."
