A devastating accident on Interstate 75 in Ashley, Ohio, early morning on June 25, 2024, claimed one life and left another person injured. The incident occurred when a vehicle came to a stop in a lane without activating hazard lights or signaling its presence.

Two individuals exited the vehicle, with one standing in the lane. Unfortunately, visibility was compromised, and two separate semis collided with the stationary vehicle and the person standing nearby.

Emergency responders arrived swiftly, but despite their efforts, one person succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The other individual was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
