A drunk driver's Mercedes-Benz collision sent a central reservation flying into an opposite-lane car in eastern China.

The terrifying dashcam video was filmed in Hefei City in Anhui Province on June 26. The barrier in the middle of a road suddenly flew to scrape a car.

Shocked but unharmed, the driver exited his car to assess the damage, finding the front end severely dented and misshapen from the impact.

According to witnesses, the traffic accident was caused by a drunk driver in a Mercedes-Benz travelling from the opposite direction, who accidentally hit the central reservation.

The Mercedes car even proceeded to collide with two other vehicles behind it, resulting in damage to four vehicles of varying degrees.

The Mercedes-Benz driver has since been arrested by the police and awaits further investigation to determine responsibility for the accident.
