The 20-day training will last until July 9.

SOUNDBITE 1 (English): ALI WAQAS, Pakistani trainee
"This training gives us a great opportunity to learn from the government of China and the great aviation industry that is here. And we have also met great professionals of your industry and from Meilan airport management. So this training becomes very important for us to go back to our country and impart these procedures in our country."

SOUNDBITE 2 (English): ATIF MEHMOOD, Pakistani trainee
"They are using hand detectors, handheld metal detectors very well. They have state-of-the-art machines for the baggage x-rays and scanning purposes, which is very impressive."

SOUNDBITE 3 (Chinese): CHEN YUWEN, Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Center, Hainan Department of Commerce
"We hope that through the implementation of this project, the friendship between the Chinese and Pakistani people can be further strengthened. At the same time, we also hope that we can share with Pakistan some relatively mature management experience of the Hainan Free Trade Port and our management experience in the civil aviation sector, including airport management, as well as airport construction and operation models and advanced concepts."
