STORYLINE:
The first fixed-schedule China-Europe freight train from China's Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area arrived at its final destination, Warsaw, the capital of Poland on Saturday.
This train exited China through the Erenhot port, traveling through Mongolia, Russia and Belarus before reaching Poland. Covering a total distance of approximately 11,200 km, the journey took around 17 days.
Compared with regular freight trains, the fixed-schedule China-Europe freight train has significantly improved transport efficiency.
Currently, several fixed-schedule China-Europe freight train routes connecting domestic and international destinations are already in operation, with more routes being added.
