Thailand: Thai dog lovers flocked to K9 auction as a result of the recent dog adoption trend

Military Working Dogs Regiment unit in Nong Sarai sub-district, Pakchong district, Nakhon Ratchasima province, openned their gates for an anual military dog auction on July 6th, 2024 with 56 dogs from 3 breeds; Labrador Retriever, German Shepherd, and Belgian Shepherd (Malinois).
The auction receipt many attentions as the dog and cat adoption had set a new trend in Thailand recently. Deemed disqualified, these dogs are known to have great pedigrees and are well trained while the auction price started as low as 1,500THB (approx. 40USD).
Neeranuch Piangkham - one of the youngest bidder - stated she considered it as a good deed. And though she attended with not much anticipation, she actually found her new buddy from the auction.
