CHP and Pasadena Fire Department responded to a traffic collision involving two vehicles and two semi-trailers westbound 210 freeway at North Michillinda Avenue in the city of Pasadena. Once CHP officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they located a total of two vehicles and two semis with one vehicle up a hillside with one person trapped inside. Firefighters and paramedics were able to free the driver who was trapped. Unknown at this time if anybody was transported or pronounced at the scene. A UPS semi-trailer and another semi-trailer both had punctured oil pans and leaked oil all over the freeway, causing CHP to issue a Sig Alert due to the oil road hazard. CHP temporarily had all lanes closed. CHP has requested Caltrans to respond to the location to assist with the cleanup. UPDATE: One person was pronounced deceased at the scene unknown if it was a driver that was trapped or another victim.
