A brush fire dubbed the "Lee Fire" broke out at 1:55 p.m. in Lancaster, near Avenue L and 20th Street West. The blaze scorched two acres of brush and reportedly involved several homes, though the extent of the damage is unclear. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. As a precautionary measure, the sheriff's department evacuated nearby residences. Multiple fire stations responded swiftly to contain the fire, preventing further spread. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
