Ducklings take their first leap into the village beck
Alan Oliver witnessed and shared this moment as a mother duck encouraged her ducklings to jump into the village beck for the first time.
The ducklings hesitated at the water's edge, unsure of the new environment.
With gentle nudges and soft quacks, the mother reassured them that it was safe.
After a few moments of uncertainty, the ducklings finally gathered their courage and leaped into the beck, splashing in to join their mother.
Their initial reluctance gave way to delight as they swam beside her, exploring the water together in a heartwarming family adventure.
