STORYLINE:

"Over 200 Chinese companies have come from China to Tanzania to attend the 48th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair. They range from agriculture, machinery, and medical services, among others. This year, the fair aims to help Tanzania companies explore new markets and business opportunities with foreign countries."

Themed "Tanzania: Your Best Destination for Business and Investment," the fair is an annual event showcasing Tanzanian products and those from other African countries.

This year's fair, which runs from June 28 to July 13, attracts more than 4,000 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions, including over 200 Chinese companies.

"As we know, China is well-developed in many aspects. They exhibit many products here, making it easy to see and order."

"Our company was established in 2009. In 2014, 2015, we began to sell tractors and some other agricultural machinery to Tanzania. Currently, we send about three to four containers of products to Tanzania. Our company is very satisfied with this trade fair. We have an average of 10 to 15 potential customers per day. Agricultural machinery is vital to develop agriculture. So I think that China and Tanzania will see a more comprehensive cooperation (on agriculture)."

"I am expecting that all visitors coming to this area, especially in this trade fair, will take the opportunity to that pavilion (Chinese pavilion) so as to learn modern technology and take the opportunity (to know) how to deal and make deals in business that will benefit both buyers and sellers."
