Swimmers enter sea despite sewage warning issued at beach in Newquay
Swimmers were seen entering the sea at Porth beach, Cornwall, despite the Environment Agency issuing a sewage warning.
The warning indicates the beach was discharging excess rain and sewage.
The filmer told Newsflare: "Hundreds of school children playing under supervision are seen. The RNLI lifeguards designate a safe bathing area and families with youngsters and adult bathers and water craft users are observed in the sea and on the shore.
"Discharges of this nature are common at outfalls in the area however increased and heavy rainfall for July has coincided with the increased seasonal beach usage raising health concerns as far more people are currently using the beach, river, and sea at this location."
