A flash flood burst through a glass shopfront, sending inflatables floating into the street.

CCTV footage shows the torrents of water breaking through the structure and pushing the items for sale into the muddy water in Phuket, Thailand, on June 30.

Large ducks, paddle boards, penguins, mini paddling pools, and rubber swans emerged from the shop and followed the current.

Some furniture and mannequins were also swept away, causing the business owner to lose revenue.

Shop owner Kanthika Suriyanon said: 'My large ducks were gone when the flash flood hit. I lost a lot of my inventory. It is such a tragedy.'

Thailand and neighbouring countries in Southeast Asia are at the start of their annual monsoon rainy season which sees soaring temperatures followed by powerful rain storms. The rudimentary infrastructure often struggles with the deluge, leading to widespread flash floods.
