A psychic lion has predicted that England will lose to Spain in the semi final of Euro 2024 tournament.


The 11-year-old male white lion, name Boy, made the prediction by choosing the meat dangling from the tricolor instead of the St George's cross flag in his enclosure at Khon Kaen Zoo, in Khon Kaen, Thailand, on July 8.

Boy also called the other semi-final match between France and Spain on Tuesday night. He believes the French will win - providing respite to riots erupting across their homeland.

The winners of the matches will face each other in the final on July 15.

Zoo boss Tipawadee Kittikoon claimed that Boy has a prediction success rate of 80 per cent.

She said he made similar successful predictions in UEFA Euro 2020 and the FIFA World Cup 2022.
