USA: Burglars Smash Stolen Car Into Gun Store

07/09/2024 04:00 am (GMT-0700) | SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – Simi Valley Police officers responded to a reported burglary in progress at the Smokin' Barrel gun store located at 1775 Surveyor Ave.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a sedan that had crashed into a side door on the north side of the business.
Initial reports state that there may have been up to four suspects inside of the business.
It is unclear if or how many firearms were stolen.
The vehicle returns as a possible unreported stolen out of Thousand Oaks.
Another gun store burglary with the same circumstances occurred in the city of Camarillo last week.
No further information was immediately available.
