USA: Fatal 5 Freeway Auto vs Pedestrian in Mission Hills

07/09/2024 01:00 am (GMT-0700) | MISSION HILLS, LOS ANGELES – Around 1:00 a.m., California Highway Patrol responded to a reported auto versus pedestrian incident on northbound I-5 at the San Fernando Mission off-ramp. A van struck a pedestrian who was walking on the roadway, resulting in fatal injuries. The van exited the freeway, returned to the scene, and waited for Highway Patrol officials. California Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
