A man accidentally caused a newly purchased kettle to explode while testing it by a roadside in eastern China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in Heze City in Shandong Province on June 28.

Curiously testing the limits of his pressurised kettle, the man continued to pump air into it.

Suddenly, with a loud bang, the kettle predictably exploded, prompting the man to swiftly rise and retreat, clutching his hand.

Thankfully, he reported no serious injuries.

To plaufully test how much pressure his newly purchased pressurized kettle could withstand, the man kept pumping air into the filled kettle on the side of the road.

Soon, with a loud bang, the kettle unsurprisingly exploded, causing the man to quickly get up and move away, clutching his blasted hand. Fortunately, he was not injured according to himself.
