Vehicles and pedestrians fled as a mudslide crashed onto a road in southern China.

The dramatic video was filmed in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province on July 9.

In response to the disaster, the Yajiang Highway Bureau promptly activated an emergency plan, deploying three loaders, three emergency rescue vehicles, and 12 rescue personnel to the site.

Thanks to the concerted efforts of the rescue team, the affected section of the road was cleared and reopened by around 7:00 p.m. the same day.

7月9日下午，四川甘孜州雅江县遭遇连续降雨天气，导致G318线（国道318线）河口镇二道桥村路段发生多处泥石流，方量约达13000方，道路被严重阻断，车辆和行人通行受阻。

现场视频显示，泥石流发生时，路面瞬间被喷涌的泥浆覆盖，车辆和行人惊慌失措，纷纷避险至安全地带，现场情况十分危急。

灾情发生后，雅江公路分局立即启动应急预案，迅速调集装载机3台、应急抢险车3辆以及抢险人员12人赶赴现场进行抢险工作。在抢险人员的共同努力下，经过紧张有序的施工，事发路段于当日19时许被抢通完毕并恢复通车。
