United States: Deputy Simmons Leads Heroic Rescue Amid Centennial House Fire

Deputy Simmons of the South Metro Fire Rescue was lauded for her courageous response during a house fire incident on June 5th at approximately 3:30 pm. Rushing to the scene on S. Franklin St. in Centennial's 6800 block, Deputy Simmons swiftly entered the burning residence and an adjacent home to evacuate elderly residents, disregarding her own safety.
The timely intervention of South Metro Fire Rescue prevented the fire from spreading further, averting potential catastrophe. Deputy Simmons, who sustained minor smoke inhalation, received prompt medical attention following the rescue.
