Italy: 15 year-old Foreign Hiker Rescued from Peril In Italy
Noto, Italy - July 10, 2024
A 15-year-old foreign hiker was rescued from distress at Laghetti d'Avola in Siracusa province yesterday. The teenager, injured and unable to navigate the trail independently, was assisted by the crew of Drago 142, an emergency response unit.
The intervention, carried out by firefighters, came after the hiker encountered difficulties on the trail. Prompt action ensured her safety and prevented a potentially more serious situation in the scenic area.
