Locals held a colourful fish beauty pageant during a marine animal exhibit in Thailand.
Exotic-looking fish with rainbow-coloured scales, bizarre body shapes, and large billowing fins were showcased for the 34th Pramong Nomklao Fair at the Future Park Rangsit & Zpell mall in Pathum Thani province.
This year, the event is themed 'Aquatic Arena' to 'showcase the strength of marine animals', which were also made to participate in underwater fish football matches.
Visitors can enjoy the Immersive Aquarium experience, simulating a dive into the depths of the ocean where they can see oarfish and splitfin flashlight fish.
There were beauty contests featuring including Cichlids, guppies, Pompadours, Siamese fighting fish, and Asian arowanas.
Aquatic animal lovers can also purchase fish and aquarium equipmen from various booths.
Freebies were given away to visitors who check in at 17 highlights at the event.
The 34th Pramong Nomklao Fair will run from June 28 to July 7.
