This the adorable moment an animal-mad tot shared a loving hug with a sloth.



Myles Martinez, three, was celebrating Father's Day with his parents at Oak Meadow Ranch in Valley View, Texas, USA.

The ranch provides the opportunity to spend time with their animals up close, which Myles was very eager to enjoy.

Adorable video shows an emotional Myles with his arms wrapped around the fury animal named Winston.

Mum Tori Martinez, 31, an administrative assistant from Fort Worth, Texas, said: "Myles has a toy sloth which he loves."

"He had seen sloths at the zoo before but never this close."

"He was so excited when the opportunity came up and I wasn't sure how he'd react in the moment."

"It ended up being a super sweet interaction. "

"They hugged for about a minute."

Myles' deep love for animals started when he was just baby and he is already rearing to return to the Oak Meadow Ranch to spend more time with Winston.

Tori said: "There was an incident when he was just 18 months old where we turned our backs for two minutes and he had a lizard in his hand."

"He is not scared of any animal and will really just run straight towards them."

"He's definitely ready to go back."

"His excitement about the situation is so sweet and he just really wants to do it again."

"We went to Fort Worth Zoo a few days later to try and appease him."
