A tour bus travelling on a national highway was struck by a falling rock, leaving a female passenger injured in southern China.

The terrifying CCTV footage was filmed in Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province on 11 July.

A sudden rockfall shattered the left-side window at the rear of a bus heading towards Xiaojin County, sending glass shards flying and causing panic among the passengers.

Unfortunately, a woman seated by the window was hit on the head by the rock, rendering her unconscious.

Following the accident, the Xiaojin County Traffic Police quickly responded and arrived at the scene. Emergency services also dispatched an ambulance, which transported the injured woman to Chengdu Huaxi Hospital for treatment.

The Xiaojin County Emergency Management Bureau reported that the woman has since regained consciousness and is in stable condition, with no life-threatening injuries. She remains in the hospital for further care.

In response to the incident, Sichuan Zhongyou Tong International Travel Agency issued a statement expressing deep sorrow over the accident. The company extended its sincere condolences to the injured passenger and her family, and pledged full cooperation with authorities to ensure the passenger receives proper care and support.

Preliminary investigations indicate the accident was caused by a natural disaster. Recent continuous rainfall had loosened the mountainside, increasing the risk of rockfalls. The tour bus was unfortunately caught in one of these rockfalls during its journey, leading to the incident.

7月11日上午，四川阿坝州小金县，一辆行驶在350国道上的旅游大巴车不幸被落石击中，导致一名女乘客受伤。

据车内监控视频显示，当天上午7时52分左右，一辆车牌为“川V”的旅游大巴车正沿着350国道向小金县方向行驶。当车辆行驶至日尔乡1030公里150米处时，突然遭遇山体落石。一块巨大的飞石瞬间砸穿了大巴车后排靠左侧的车窗，玻璃碎片四溅，车内乘客惊恐万分。不幸的是，一名坐在窗边的女乘客被飞石击中头部，当场受伤昏迷。

事故发生后，小金县公安局交警大队迅速接警并赶到现场处理。同时，120急救车也紧急出动，将受伤的女乘客送往成都华西医院进行救治。

据小金县应急管理局回应，目前受伤女乘客已清醒，精神状态良好，无生命危险，正在医院接受进一步治疗。

针对此次事故，四川省中游通国际旅行社有限公司发表声明称，受伤女乘客系其合作单位旅游大巴上的乘客。公司对此次意外事件深感痛心，并向受伤乘客及其家属表示诚挚的慰问。同时，公司承诺将全力配合相关部门做好后续处理工作，确保受伤乘客得到妥善安置和救治。

据初步调查，此次事故系自然灾害导致的意外事件。近期，小金县连续降雨，山体松动，增加了落石的风险。旅游大巴在行驶过程中不幸遭遇落石袭击，导致事故发生。
