A Chinese fitness fanatic has sparked concern with her shockingly thin figure.

The blogger, weighing 14 pounds, flaunted her body on camera in Guangdong, China, on July 10.

Footage shows the unhealthy skinny body of the lady where her bones can be seen showing inside her skin.

Followers expressed their worries over her emaciated look, suggesting she has an eating disorder such as anorexia.

But she claims that she is not sick and she doesn't have anorexia.

The vlogger said: I eat three meals a day like a normal person, I simply like to be skinny. I am healthy and this feels good for me.'

The beauty standard in China often emphasizes skinny women due to historical influences, where slender figures have been traditionally valued. Modern media, fashion industries, and social media amplify this ideal by frequently showcasing slim models and celebrities.

This pressure can drive many individuals towards weight loss efforts, sometimes resulting in extreme dieting or eating disorders like anorexia which is an intense fear of gaining weight and a distorted body image. It often leads to self-imposed starvation and excessive weight loss.

Individuals with anorexia often see themselves as overweight, even when they are underweight and may engage in extreme dieting, excessive exercise, and other behaviours to lose weight.
