Two-year-old Zane became an unexpected Instagram sensation after a backyard adventure. While exploring a friend’s backyard, Zane's curiosity led him straight into an outdoor playhouse, despite his dad Brian's warning about a possible beehive inside.

Ignoring his dad's plea, Zane entered the playhouse and was immediately stung by a bee on the border of his lip and upper lip. His cry brought his parents, Brian and Shayla (@shayhubfit), rushing to his side. The bee lay on the ground, and Zane, though initially in pain, handled the sting like a champ, crying for only a few minutes.

The swelling began quickly, and with the help of an ice pack and a binky, Zane's nerves were calmed. Within ten minutes, his temperament was back to normal, though his lip had swollen .

2 year old, Zane was exploring a friend’s backyard. As he approached a little outdoor playhouse, Zane’s dad, Brian called out to him to wait as there could be a beehive inside. Zane, full of curiosity and confidence, ignored his dad’s plea like most 2 year olds would. He walked right into the little house and immediately got stung by a bee! It got Zane right on the boarder of his lip and upper lip. Brian (dad) and I (Shayla, mom, @shayhubfit) heard Zane’s blood curling cry! We ran to him. The bee was on the ground inside the playhouse. Zane took the sting like a champ! He cried only for a few minutes. The swelling began immediately after the sting! Thankfully, we had an ice pack and binky to calm his nerves and the swelling. 10 minutes after the sting, Zane’s temperament was completely back to normal, but his lip was hysterically large!! It looked like a dramatic lip filler social media filter! Haha Zane was also extremely passionate about telling the story about what happened over and over again!
