An Indonesian expert has hailed China's efforts to promote green development in a recent interview with Xinhua, noting that China's contribution to reducing pollution and controlling greenhouse gas emissions is laudable and worth learning for other countries.

"China's contribution to reducing pollution and controlling greenhouse gas emissions certainly needs to be appreciated. And, as previously stated, the results are extraordinary.
If we look today, China is building more renewable energy plants than other countries.
And the efforts made in China have had an impact on reducing the costs of low-carbon technologies, one of which is renewable energy technology, whether electricity from solar energy or wind energy.
So, I think China has controlled pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, reduced environmental impacts, and had an impact on lowering technology costs. 
Many countries in the world, including Indonesia, can also enjoy cheap technology prices as a result.
China has also successfully implemented an exemplary combination of strict standards, the enforcement of the standards, and governance on these issues.
It can be an example and reference for many developing countries, including Indonesia."
