Law enforcement and emergency responders were engaged in simultaneous critical incidents on Monday evening, July 15, 2024, involving a high-speed pursuit and a rollover crash.

At 7:26 pm, deputies pursued a U-Haul truck southbound on I41, following an armed robbery and shooting in Omro. Tire deflation devices were deployed along the interstate, leading to a standoff in Fond du Lac where suspects were apprehended with a loaded firearm.

Simultaneously, at 7:29 pm, emergency responders rushed to a rollover crash on CTH TC near CTH M in Springvale. A 32-year-old Brandon man, suspected of driving under the influence, fled the scene on foot before being apprehended with serious injuries.

Omro Police Department provided details on the suspects involved in the pursuit. Omah A. Brown, 45, and Shakierra B. Ray, 27, both facing multiple charges including attempted homicide and robbery, were apprehended following a disturbance involving a firearm in Omro earlier in the evening.

The victim, a 65-year-old Omro resident, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported for medical treatment.
