Devastating flash floods swept vehicles away in northern China.

The video was filmed in Baoji City in Shaanxi Province on July 17.

A sudden torrential rainstorm struck the city, unleashing severe havoc upon the unsuspecting urban landscape. The deluge caused extensive urban flooding, with multiple vehicles swept away by raging floodwaters, leaving drivers and residents covered in mud during their rescue efforts.

Eyewitnesses reported that within a short span, the downpour rapidly accumulated into torrents, submerging roads along riverbanks and surrounding low-lying areas.

Numerous cars parked along the streets were swiftly engulfed, tumbling and colliding amidst the floodwaters before disappearing into the tumultuous currents.

Simultaneously, underground garages in nearby residential areas were inundated, resulting in significant property losses for residents.

Local authorities had urgently evacuated 913 households comprising 1,881 individuals, with rescue operations continuing in earnest.

Emergency response teams are mobilising all available resources to swiftly restore normalcy to the disaster-stricken area, aiming to stabilise both production and daily life.

据目击者描述，短时间内，暴雨倾盆而下，迅速汇聚成洪流，淹没了沿河道路和周边低洼地带。多辆停放在路边的汽车瞬间被卷入洪流中，它们在洪水中翻滚、碰撞，最终消失在汹涌的水流之中。同时，附近小区的地下车库也大面积进水，居民财产遭受重大损失。

截至7月17日7时，当地已紧急避险转移撤离群众913户、1881人，救援工作仍在紧张进行中。相关部门正全力以赴，争取早日恢复灾区正常生产生活秩序。
