Villager shimmies across iron pipe above raging floods to reach safety
A villager shimmied across an iron pipe to cross a road split in two by raging flash floods in India.
Footage shows the man crawling through the metal pole over fast-flowing water in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, on July 13.
The residents were stranded after the path was broken apart by the deluge and most of them except for the man waited for the water levels to recede.
His friends were delighted when he reached safety as the current continued to wash away soil.
