Mom's ghost train idea leaves girls in tears and flurry of frowns
Alison Wood was on a mission to make their beach trip to Blackpool extra special.
Staying at a Haven resort, she thought a spooky ride on the ghost train would be an exciting adventure for her two daughters.
But when the rickety train lurched out of the darkness, Alison's plan screeched to a halt.
One daughter burst into tears, overwhelmed by the creepy sights and sounds.
The other, although dry-eyed, wasn't happy.
Instead, she glared at Alison, clearly not amused by the ghostly experience.
It seemed Alison's quest for thrills had backfired, leaving her daughters shaken and unimpressed!
