Playful elephant calf adorably attempts to scare off safari vehicle in South Africa
Watch this playful elephant calf attempt to scare off a safari vehicle before retreating back to its mother in Kruger National Park.
The filmer said: "It was during a late morning safari in the Kruger National Park when we came across this baby elephant that was full of beans. We stopped to watch a small herd of elephants feeding alongside the road.
"The elephants were scattered all over the place and to our left-hand side we noticed a baby elephant standing with its older brother. On the far opposite side of the road was the mother busy feeding by herself. The baby elephant probably thought it was a good time to show us who was the real boss of the bush right at that moment.
"With ears flared out and trunk in the air, the baby elephant came charging towards the vehicle and came to a standstill in front of us. It was so funny to see how this baby elephant was trying to be intimidating.
"Suddenly the baby elephant did a cute little mock charge towards our vehicle again before it quickly turned around, running back to its older brother. This baby elephant looked so playful as it was staring at us, with its ears spread out wide, looking all alert and serious.
"The funniest part of the whole sighting happened. Just as we thought the baby elephant was coming for another charge towards the side of the vehicle, it suddenly ran past the back of the safari vehicle straight to its mother, looking all innocent as if nothing happened.
"Once the baby elephant was back with its mother, it quickly started behaving and calmed down. We left the elephants in peace with everyone having a good laugh about the experience."
