A bakery owner who has run her shop in Urumqi, Xinjiang, northwest China, for over seven years shares the process of making miniature landscape cakes through her vlog published on Chinese TikTok, Douyin, on 3 July 2024.

She first used the cake bases to create the general terrain of the Nalati Scenic Area, located in Xinyuan County, Ili Autonomous Prefecture and then covered it with white cream.

She drizzled chocolate to form the mountains and slopes. Using different colours of frosting, she added snow on the mountains, created rivers on the ground, and used dyed cookie crumbs and icing for the grasslands.

Finally, she crafted the popular bridge, where many tourists take photos in the scenic area, using dough, sugar, and honey.
