USA: Double Shooting in Westlake

07/18/2024 12:30 am (GMT-0700) | WESTLAKE, LOS ANGELES – LAPD Rampart units responded to reports of a shooting of a shooting victim in the area of Wilshire Boulevard and South Alvarado Street.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a male with a gunshot wound to his leg.
While officers were on scene, they were advised of a second victim nearby with a gunshot wound to the back of the head.
A minivan full of children with bullet holes in the windshield was also observed at the scene.
Both victims were transported to the hospital by LAFD in unknown condition.
A possible suspect was taken into custody nearby.
No further details at this time.
