Kfar Aza kibbutz accommodations impacted by the October 7th Hamas attack. The Kfar Aza was one of the most impacted kibbutz by the Hamas attack on October 7th, 2024. Less than two kilometres far from the Gaza Strip border, it was heavily attacked by Hamas militia from four ways, including the sky. 62 of the about 1000 jewish inhabitants lost their lives. Nine months later, the area has been secured from explosive devices, and some of the victims’ accommodations have become a memorial. On a daily basis, local citizens from other areas, military members and foreign tourists belonging to different worldwide Jewish communities arrive at the kibbutz to visit it and to hear the survivors’ stories.
