In a display of aerial prowess, a U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer from the 7th Bomb Wing, Dyess Air Base, Texas, engaged in mid-air refueling operations with a KC-135 Stratotanker from the 927th Air Refueling Wing, Florida, during Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) over the Pacific Ocean on July 18, 2024.

RIMPAC, the world's largest international maritime exercise, has gathered participation from 29 nations, featuring 40 surface ships, three submarines, 14 national land forces, over 150 aircraft, and 25,000 personnel. Held in and around the Hawaiian Islands from June 27 to August 1, 2024, RIMPAC 2024 marks the 29th iteration of the exercise series since its inception in 1971.

The exercise not only provides a unique training opportunity but also strengthens cooperative relationships crucial for safeguarding sea lanes and ensuring oceanic security globally.
