Highway bridge collapses in northern China, killing 15
A highway bridge collapsed due to a flash flood in northern China, killing 15 people.
The video was filmed in Shangluo City in Shaanxi Province on July 19.
A sudden heavy rainstorm triggered a flash flood, causing a partial collapse of the No. 2 bridge in Yanping Village at the K46+200 section of the Danfeng–Ningshan Expressway in the direction of Shanyang.
As of 7:00 p.m. on July 21st, 15 bodies have been found, and preliminary investigations indicate that nearly 20 vehicles and more than 30 people are still missing.
Rescue operations are currently underway with great urgency.
