A dramatic rescue unfolded recently in Foshan as firefighters responded urgently to a distress call reporting an elderly woman trapped in an escalator at the entrance of a local supermarket. The incident prompted a swift and skilled response from Guangdong firefighters.
Upon arrival, emergency responders found the elderly woman in a precarious situation, with part of her body trapped in the escalator mechanism. Using specialized tools, firefighters carefully freed her from the escalator, ensuring her safe extraction.
Medical professionals subsequently examined the woman and confirmed she had fortunately sustained no serious injuries from the incident.
