SOUNDBITE 1 (English): LESZEK SLAZYK, Polish expert on China
"I used to visit China for 30 years. From my point of view, China will be for a long time the main source of developed products, not only for consumers, but also for any kind of business, especially for those industrial areas. This is the future which I can already see after my visit in China. I believe there is a future for the global economy. And one of the major engines of this economy for sure will be China."
The expert also noted that China's unique approach to modernization offers valuable lessons and inspiration for other countries.
SOUNDBITE 2 (English): LESZEK SLAZYK, Polish expert on China
"More and more countries look at China as a source of inspiration. At the end of the 1970s, China was a very poor, underdeveloped country. Now it's a major force all over the world. People from countries like African countries, like Central Asian countries, like Middle Eastern countries, like South American countries. They are asking the question: how it could happen? They look for the possibility to get some inspiration from China, to learn from China, to adopt some elements of the Chinese model to also develop, to say goodbye to poverty."
