This is the heartwarming moment passing fishermen rescued a woman floating at sea during a storm off the Thai coast.

The heroic sailors were resting on their boat when they received a call requesting help to find missing people after a boat wreck in Satun, Thailand, on July 17.

Footage shows the men spotting the elderly woman floating in the water with a plastic water gallon in her arms.

They gently pulled her into their boat, bringing her back to safety.

They also attempted to search for her husband but were later informed that the individual had already returned to the pier.

Sabri Sendakan, the deputy head of the local council said an emergency call was received about another fishing boat that had capsized in the sea.

Three crew members were missing but marine police later rescued them.
