This is the moment a woman gets caught in a sudden downpour while trying to recorded the localised rain that started off just several yards away from where she stood.

Footage captured by another bystander shows the woman standing by the roadside in Hangzhou city, in Zhejiang, Chine, and recording the rare sight.

Heavy rain was falling further down the street that she stood on. Astonishingly, the area around her was very dry without a single raindrop to be seen.

But that changed in an instant as the cloud moved further up and she swiftly got caught in a shower of rain.

Her excitement was evident as she laughed out loud and grappled with her umbrella.

The woman's reaction captured in the July 11 video drew attention to the simple pleasure of experiencing a rain shower.
