Video shows the unfortunate moment a woman left a bar - and fell straight down a manhole.

The female reveller is seen leaving the The Ugly Duck in high spirits - dancing and waving to pals through the window.

But she then loses her balance and falls through safety barriers and into roadworks - straight down a hole.

Luckily she was said to have been uninjured.

The Ugly Duck, in Paisley, Scotland, has warned customers to "be aware" after CCTV footage captured the dramatic fall."

Staff shared the video on Facebook, encouraging visitors to "watch their step" and to "please be aware of the duck's pond" in a light-hearted post."

"When you leave The Duck, still dancing the night away, heading for a kebab, watch your step," the post read."

"Scottish Water are carrying out essential repairs. No injuries occurred, but folks, we repeat, watch your step!"
