Brave bystanders saved a girl from drowning in a raging river in southwestern China.

Heroic video filmed in Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province on July 17, shows two men jumping into a river to rescue a girl trapped in a river.

According to reports, the girl was playing near the riverbank and accidentally fell into the water. Miraculously, she managed to cling to a concrete pillar in the river, awaiting help.

A man in a blue hat, identified as Li Chunhua, swiftly removed his clothes and plunged into the river, swimming determinedly towards her. Another man, Wu Dingjun, quickly followed, joining the rescue effort. Amid the anxious shouts and assistance from onlookers on the riverbank, the two men bravely fought the currents and eventually brought the girl to safety.

The rescued girl was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. According to her parents, after receiving careful medical attention, she has been discharged and is in good health.

The media finally located and interviewed the unidentified heroes on July 19. They expressed that their only concern at the time was saving the girl, without any thought for their own safety.
