Protesters outsmart authorities in Nairobi CBD as police focus on JKIA
On July 23, 2024, @jaredsubaru shared a video of people protesting in Nairobi's Central Business District (CBD), Kenya. Earlier, they had hinted at a protest in Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), causing security agents to concentrate many police officers there. This left the CBD with fewer officers, allowing peaceful protests to proceed without disruption. In the video caption, @jaredsubaru noted, "They sent all the police and goons to JKIA. At this time the CBD is free and no thieves are stealing. Now you know who the thieves are."
